New Vision Statement

A new vision statement was recently announced by International President David W. Martin at the International Convention in New Orleans, Louisiana. While this vision statement is new in name, the essence reflects the original vision of The Gideons International.

As an Association, we have embraced this verse and have adopted One Spirit, One Mind, One Vision - Striving Side by Side for the Faith of the Gospel as our vision statement. In short, we will refer to this simply as One Vision.

Please pray for Nicholas Hood from Ozark, and Cole Burton who were injured May 24th at a geology dig near Gadsden when a truck had a blow out and the driver lost control of the vehical. Both were air lifted to UAB and remain there. Both are still in ICU.

Charlie Burton, father of Cole, is a member of the Morgan East Camp.

Audrey Richardson

Mrs. Audrey  (Clifton) Richardson passed away on Friday.

The memorial service is scheduled for May 16th at Grace Baptist church in Ozark at 7:00 p.m.

Martha and Frank Phillips son-in-law, Brandon Shrout, had surgery this morning. He has finished a round of chemo and today underwent surgery. There will be no path report for 3 to 5 days. Please keep him in your prayers for a full recovery. Brandon and the Phillip's daughter are newly married.

Want to become a Speaker?

Are you ready to speak up at your camp? The ELEVENTH Annual Speaker Qualification Day is February 10, 2018. If this is your first time to qualify to speak in churches or if you need to re-qualify, you have an opportunity to do that on February 10th at Daleville Baptist Church at 9 a.m. Come on February 10th if you need to Re-qualify (if you qualified or last re-qualified before 5/31/14). Church Ministry Chairs are welcome to come February 10th and observe new and returning (re-qualifying) speakers. Lynn Price's Mother is in the hospital with an intestinal blockage. Please keep them both in your prayers. Pray for Lynn for traveling mercies and her Mother for a complete recovery.
